Technical Specifications for Titanium Alloy Rods
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must strictly adhere to the standards set forth in GB/T 3620.1. Upon reinspection by the buyer, the allowable chemical composition deviations should conform to GB/T 3620.2.
2: The diameter or side length of the hot-worked bar, along with its permissible deviations, should meet the criteria outlined in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, rods undergo a meticulous polishing process via turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The diameter deviations of cold-drawn bars must comply with the specifications detailed in Table 2.
4: For polished bars post hot-working, non-roundness must not exceed half of the specified dimensional tolerance.
5: The indeterminate lengths for processed bars range from 300-6000mm, while annealed bars range from 300-2000mm. The fixed or double-length bars should fall within these ranges, with a permissible length deviation of +20mm. For double-length bars, the cut amount for each piece is 5mm. These length specifications should be clearly indicated in the contract.
