Technical Requirements for Titanium Alloy Rod
1: Adhering to the GB/T 3620.1 standards, the chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must meet specified provisions. Any allowable deviations during reinspection should comply with GB/T 3620.2 directives.
2: The diameter or side length of hot-working bars and their allowable deviations should align with the specifications outlined in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, rods undergo a meticulous polishing process through turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The allowable diameter deviations for cold-drawn bars must conform to the standards in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of polished bars post hot-processing should not exceed half of their dimensional tolerance.
5: Processed rods range in indefinite lengths from 300-6000mm, while annealed rods range from 300-2000mm. Fixed or double sizes must fall within these indefinite lengths. Length deviations are permissible up to +20mm, including a 5mm cut allowance for double scales. Contract specifications must list the length of fixed or double scales.
